According to authorities, in one of the most disturbing domestic crime cases in recent memory, a father from Washington state has reportedly gone missing while being charged with the brutal murders of his three young daughters. The events, which transpired last week in a usually quiet suburban neighborhood, have devastated the local community and have led to a large-scale investigation statewide.
The Heartbreaking Discovery
The case began on a Sunday morning when police were dispatched to a residence because a family member made a 911 call stating that they hadn’t heard from the family in more than 24 hours. When officers entered the home in the Redmond area, there was chilling music left; the bodies of three children, all under the age of 12, were inside their bedrooms. According to Redmond Police Chief Laura Gonzalez, the suspect “may be armed and dangerous,” and authorities are urging the public not to approach him if seen.
“We are doing everything in our power to bring this individual to justice,” Chief Gonzalez said in a press briefing Monday afternoon. “Our community is grieving, and we will not rest until we locate him.”
Local law enforcement has teamed up with the FBI and the U.S. Marshals Service to locate the fugitive. There is a $50,000 reward for information that leads to his arrest.
